Amy Wilcox is responsible for all of Practicefirst's client credentialing matters and ensuring that the credentialing process remains current, accurate and timely. Her interest and expertise in this specialized field is a result of her work in physician practices where she experienced firsthand how important credentialing is to financial success.

Effective credentialing is an exact science requiring attention to detail, meeting deadlines and constant oversight.  Ms. Wilcox provides leadership for process improvement and redesign to reduce costs, improve client satisfaction and meet client objectives.  She is vigilant about keeping current with industry and regulatory changes, and sharing that knowledge with clients.

The foundation for Ms. Wilcox's career in healthcare administration began with a Bachelor's of Science in Health Care Administration from Daemen College.  Prior to joining Practicefirst, she served in various positions with local hospitals and physician practices, including patient service representative, human resources coordinator and credentialing coordinator.
